Title from a notice in the Maryland Journal and
Baltimore advertiser of December 9, 1791, addressed,
"to the Despicable author of the anonymous handbill,
called "Description of a fete champetre." The
notice appears' in the column headed "Baltimore,"
is unsigned and therefore was probably written by
Goddard.
