One of the provisions of this act was "That Mr. Frederick Green, printer, according to his agreement with the house of
delegates, shall print and stitch in blue paper covers, seven hundred and fifty copies of this act, and make up into eighteen
parcels of thirty-six copies each, directed to the commissioners named in this act, for the several counties ... on or before
the first day of February next, under the penalty of one hundred pounds current money .. and the printer shall deliver
the residue of said copies to the clerks of the senate and house of delegates." The tax rate provided for by this act was
twenty five shillings on one hundred pounds on all real and personal property in the state excepting church, state and school
property and the clothes and provisions necessary for the use of the family during the year.
