The text of this pamphlet which was also printed in the Maryland Journal and Baltimore Advertiser is followed by a
postscript dated April 25, 1778, which mentions the arrival of the proceedings of Congress on conciliation, too late to be
printed in this publication. However, the printer inserted a short paragraph at the end of the last page stating the opinion
of Congress that negotiations cannot be earned on until England recognizes the Independence of the colonies and with-
draws her fleet and armies. (The cut of the ship is the same that was frequently used in the Maryland Journal and Balti-
more Advertiser for shipping notices.)
