1836.

Vid and Hezekiah Trundle, at all times hereafter, to be called
and known by, and hold and use the names of, David Henry
Trundle and Hezekiah William Trundle, as they are herein be-
fore changed/aid by these names to sue and be sued in any
court of law or equity.

2. And be it enacted, That all securities, promises, contracts,
assurances, deeds and lawful acts whatever, hereafter to be made
or done by the said David Trundle or Hezekiah Trundle, shall be
of the same force and effect, and equally avail, to all intents and
purposes, as before the passage of this act

CHAP. CXIII.
An Act for the benefit of John Aisquith, the Administrator of Robert C.
Aisquilh, late of the City of Baltimore, deceased.

WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly, that Ro-
bert C. Aisquith was for several years collector of the county
and state taxes for four wards in the city of Baltimore, and that
he paid to the levy court of Baltimore county the whole amount
of taxes putlnto his hands for collection, without any allowance
for insolvencies, and that he departed this life before the expi-
ration of the time allowed to him by law for completing his
collections for the year eighteen hundred and twenty-four, and
leaving the same unfinished ;

Preamble

1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That the commissioners of the tax for the city of Baltimore be
and they hereby are authorised, empowered and directed, tc
ascertain what sums of money John Aisquith, as administrator
of the estate of the said Robert C. Aisquith, is justly entitled
to be credited for and allowed in settling the account of the
said Robert C. Aisquith, as collector aforesaid, for taxes owing
from insolvent persons, or others, which the said Robert C.
Aisquith did not and could not collect in his life-time.

2. And be it enacted, That the levy court of Baltimore
county be and they hereby are authorised, empowered and di-
rected, to allow to, and credit the said John Aisquith with, all
such sums as the said commissioners of the tax shall have as
certained that the said Robert C. Aisquith, whilst he was col-
lector as aforesaid, did not and could not collect by reason of
the insolvency of the persons owing the same, or other cause
and upon such allowance and credit, to receive any balance to
them due in full of all claims against the estate of the said Ro-
bert C. Aisquith, as collector as aforesaid, and if upon such al-
lowance and credit the said levy court shall appear to have been
overpaid, then to refund and pay back to the said John Asquith
the amount so overpaid; and the said levy court shall lew such
sum, as shall be necessary for that purpose, on the assessable pro
perty within the city of Baltimore.
