13-321.

This subtitle applies to a transfer within the scope of § 13-302 of this subtitle
made ON OR AFTER July 1, 1989 if:

(1) The transfer purports to have been made under the Maryland Uniform
Gifts to Minors Act; or

(2) The instrument by which the transfer purports to have been made uses
in substance the designation "As custodian under the Uniform Gifts to Minors Act" or
"As custodian under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act" of any other state, and the
application of this subtitle is necessary to validate the transfer.

(b) (1) The trustee shall deposit the check in any financial institution as
defined in § [13-301(g)] 13-301(1) of this title.

(9) A custodian under the Maryland Uniform [Gifts] TRANSFERS to
Minors Act; and

Maryland Uniform Gifts to Minors Act and enacted the Maryland Uniform

Article - Family Law

5-556.

(a) In addition to any other provision of law relating to child abuse and neglect,
a local department that receives a report of suspected child abuse under [§ 5-703 or] §
5-704 OR § 5-705 of this title that concerns a family day care home shall notify the
Secretary's designee within 48 hours.
