governing the certification and operation of sheltered housing projects, INCLUDING
REGULATIONS—PROVIDING FOR FEDERAL AND STATE CRIMINAL
BACKGROUND—INVESTIGATIONS—OF—PROVIDERS—OF—SHELTERED
HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY AND THEIR EMPLOYEES; and

(6) ; (6) BE AUTHORIZED TO CONDUCT FEDERAL AND STATE
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS OF PROVIDERS OF
SHELTERED HOUSING AND THEIR EMPLOYEES WHEN THE SHELTERED
HOUSING PROVIDES FOR FEWER THAN 16 UNRELATED INDIVIDUALS
AND IS OPERATED AS A SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING;

(7) ADOPT REGULATIONS WHICH PROVIDE FOR
INVESTIGATIONS OF ANY CRIMINAL RECORD OF A SHELTERED
HOUSING PROVIDER OR EMPLOYEE UNDER PARAGRAPH (6) OF THIS
SUBSECTION; AND

(8) Certify and review the compliance of sheltered housing projects with
the [standards and guidelines] REGULATIONS established for governing the
certification and operation of these projects.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

Delegate Scholarships - Summer School

FOR the purpose of eliminating the requirement that the recipient of a Delegate
scholarship must request permission 6 months in advance of using the scholarship
to attend summer school.
