AN ACT amending Section 18.112 "Agreements for owners or developers to
construct or pay for the construction of water and/or sewer systems" of Subtitle 1
"Public Utilities" of Title 18 "Public Works" of the Howard County Code to require
notification of certain property owners before a developer or property owner can
construct a water or sewer project on county property.

Effective Date July 3, 1989.

Bill No. 38

AN ACT to amend Subsection (d) "Cable administrator" of Sec. 14.402
"Definitions", Subsection (b)(5) of Sec. 14.427 "Access facilities" and Subsection
(b)(7) of Sec. 14.431 "Cable administrator; duties and responsibilities" of Subtitle 4
"Howard County Cable Television Systems Act" of Title 14 "Licenses, Permits and
Inspections" of the Howard County Code to provide that government access channels
shall be administered by the Cable Administrator; and upgrading the position of Cable
Administrator to reflect the additional duties; and providing procedures for removal of
the cable administrator.

Effective Date August 7, 1989.

AN ACT amending the Electrical Regulations to require the licensee to certify |
that he/she has the required insurance instead of the current practice of requiring the i
submission of certified copies of the insurance policies.

Effective Date August 7, 1989.

AN ACT to add Section 18.124 (eR) to Title 18, "Public Works" of the Howard
County Code to incorporate into the Metropolitan District certain parcel(s) in
Columbia belonging to Melvin and Barbara Seidman.
