BALTIMORE COUNTY

authority to adopt regulations for insuring adequate provision of the disposing of
drainage, sewage and waste, and for criminal penalties for violation of sediment control
plans; for the repeal and reenactment of sections creating the building engineer,
establishing the duties of the building engineer, providing for the review of building
permits within the Department of Permits and Licenses, authorizing the inspection of
public buildings, requiring the Board of Education to comply with the building
regulations, establishing the procedure for issuance of permits, limiting the right to
work in navigable waters below tide, establishing rules and regulations for construction
of buildings, providing for revisions of the building code, prohibiting the use of
explosive and flammable compounds, prohibiting the obstruction of aisles and doors in
public buildings, allowing for the adequate disposal of sewage and drainage, providing
for expansion of the term "community representative" in enforcement of requiring
address numbers, requiring for a grading permit, establishing requirements for an
application for a permit; and adding a new section requiring a license for a hotel or
motel.
