For the purpose of repealing sections refusing licenses when contrary to zoning,
requiring applications for holding facility license to indicate certain information, |
establishing for fees for holding facilities, requiring posting of license, prohibiting dogs
to be at large, requiring notification of owner of any animal impounded, allowingi
disposal of impounded animals, allowing for redemption of impounded animals,
allowing for disposition of abandoned animals, describing the civil penalty, describing
procedure to revoke holding facility licenses, allowing for criminal penalty, allowing for
the contesting of a violation; repealing and reenacting sections defining the animal]
welfare board, creating the animal welfare board, establishing the board, creating the
duties of the Board, creating the duties of the Chairman of the Board, allowing for
expenses of members of the Board, for removal from office of members, establishing
what is required to conduct business, creating the bureau of animal control, providing
authority to animal control inspectors, establishing duties of enforcement, requiring anq
limiting licenses, allowing for the transfer of licenses, allowing for the zoning
regulations to supersede this title, establishing holding facilities, providing for authority
to enter into agreements for the care of injured dogs and cats, allowing for dogs to bt
at large under certain conditions, requiring a certificate of health at time of sale o
