AN ORDINANCE concerning:

Pensions - Service, Vesting, and Benefits

FOR the purpose of amending certain provisions pertaining to service, credited service,
vesting, and amount of pension benefit in the Employee's Retirement Plan;
amending certain provisions pertaining to credited service, retirement age, and
amount of pension benefits in the Retirement Plan for Appointed and Elected
Officials; and making certain technical corrections pertaining to employees'
pensions.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 7, §§2-101(m), 2-202(d), 2-203(c)(3), 2-206, 2-207(a), 2-210(g), 3-101(i),
3-107(b), 3-203(c)(l) and (3), 3-206, 3-207, 3-209, 3-210(f) and (g), and
3-219(a)

Alarm Systems - Electricians

FOR the purpose of clarifying that alarm systems may be installed only by a licensed
electrician; and requiring that a person installing an alarm system provide certain
instruction and a certain certification; and generally relating to installation of
alarm systems.
