Ch. 492 LAWS OF MARYLAND

OF THE DUTIES REQUIRED OF HIM UNDER THIS ARTICLE, BUT THE
STATE EMPLOYMENT SYSTEM SHALL NOT OTHERWISE BE CONSIDERED
IN FORCE OR APPLICABLE TO SAID CHARLES COUNTY SANITARY
DISTRICT, INC.

111-14. EMPLOYMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL AUTHORIZED;
PAYMENT OF EXPENSES AND REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS.

FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF
ADMINISTERING THIS ARTICLE, THE DISTRICT MAY EMPLOY SUCH
PERSONNEL AND MAKE SUCH EXPENDITURES AS NECESSARY TO CARRY
OUT THE PURPOSES OF THIS ARTICLE AND SHALL REIMBURSE THE
TREASURY OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND FOR SUCH REASONABLE
COSTS WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY THE OFFICE OF THE STATE
COMMISSIONER OF PERSONNEL IN CARRYING OUT ITS FUNCTIONS
UNDER THIS ARTICLE.

111-15. VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES.

ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
ARTICLE IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND, ON CONVICTION
THEREOF, SHALL BE PUNISHED BY A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN FIFTY
DOLLARS ($50.) AND NOT MORE THAN FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.).

111-16. SEVERABILITY.

IF ANY WORD, PHRASE, CLAUSE, SENTENCE OR OTHER PART OR
PARTS OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL BE HELD UNCONSTITUTIONAL, SUCH
UNCONSTITUTIONALITY SHALL NOT AFFECT THE VALIDITY OF THE
REMAINING PARTS OF THIS ARTICLE OR OF ALL OTHER SECTIONS
THEREOF.

111-17. REPEALER.

ALL ACTS OR PARTS OF ACTS OR LAWS AND PARTS OF LAWS
INCONSISTENT HEREWITH OR CONTRARY THERETO SHALL BE AND THE
SAME ARE HEREBY REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH
INCONSISTENCY.

111-18. JURISDICTION LIMITED.

THE CHARLES COUNTY SANITARY DISTRICT, INC., CREATED AND
ORGANIZED UNDER THE SUBTITLE "SANITARY DISTRICTS" IN ARTICLE
43 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND, 1957 EDITION, AS
AMENDED, HAS NO JURISDICTION OVER THE FACILITIES OF THE
POTOMAC HEIGHTS MUTUAL HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.,
LOCATED IN POTOMAC HEIGHTS, INDIAN HEAD, MARYLAND.
