SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 29 - Washington Suburban Sanitary District

3-101.

(c) (1) On and after June 30, 1968, the WSSC may not install, operate, or
exercise any authority over drainage systems in Montgomery County[, except for that
portion of the City of Takoma Park in Montgomery County].

(2) [On and after June 30, 1987, the WSSC may not install, operate, or
exercise any authority over drainage systems in the City of Takoma Park in Montgomery
County, except as provided in this title] ON AND AFTER JULY 1, 1990, THE WSSC
MAY NOT INSTALL, OPERATE, OR EXERCISE ANY AUTHORITY OVER
DRAINAGE SYSTEMS IN THE CITY OF TAKOMA PARK.
