The following members, elect, from Baltimore city,

Messrs. Jno. C. Brune, H. M. Warfield, Charles H. Pitts,
Wm. G. Harrison, J. Hanson Thomas, S. Teakle Wallis,
T. Parkin Scott, Ross Winans, H. M. Morfit, Lawrence Sang-
eton, appeared, were qualified, and took their seats.

Mr. Morgan proposed the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

April 26th, 1861.
GENTLEMEN OF THE SENATE :

This House is now organized and is prepared to proceed
with the business of the Session.

We have appointed Messrs. Morgan, Wallis and Dennis,
of Somerset, committee on the part of this House to wait up-
on his Excellency, the Governor, and receive any communi-
cations, he may have to make,

Which wan read, assented to and sent to the Senate.
Mr. Dennis, of Somerset, offered the following:

Resolved, (The Senate concurring,) That when the House
of Delegates and Senate adjourn, it be to meet in the city of
Annapolis on Monday, the 29th inst., at 12 o'clock, M.
