Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill:

An act appropriating a sum of money for the payment of
the claims of Thomas J. Brice, executor of Ann Brice, Owen
M. Taylor, Caleb Stewart, Thomas Gardner and John H.
Thomson;

Also, the resolutions of the joint committee on Federal
Relations on the report of the Commissioners of the Board of
Police of the city of Baltimore;

Severally endorsed, and "passed by yeas and nays/'

The Secretary of the Senate returned the bill entitled, an
act to ratify the proceedings of the Circuit court for Alle-
gany county, as a court of Equity, appointing Wm. Walsh,
trustee, to complete the collection of State and county taxes,
for the years 1860 and 1861, and perform the other duties of
collector in place of John Callan, late collector, deceased;

Also, the bill entitled, an act making appropriations for
the payment of the expenses of the extra session of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, for the year 1861;

Also, the bill entitled, an act to repeal sections 880 and
881 of the 4th article of the Code of Public Local Laws, re-
lating to the collection of taxes and the limitation of time
therefor, and to substitute for said sections the following
sections extending the time of such limitations;

Also, the bill entitled, an act to amend article 75 of the
Code of Public General Laws relating to Pleadings, Prac-
tice and Proofs, by adding a section thereto, to authorize the
removal of Equity causes in the Superior court of Baltimore
city, and in the Circuit court of Baltimore city, from the one
to the other of those courts;

Also, the bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of
money for the purpose of rebinding certain dockets and re-
cord books of the late High court of Chancery;
