Brining, Fiery, Griffith, Gordon, Barnard, McCleary, Roop,
Mills, Turner.

The proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Brune, presented the petition of C. S. Maltby and
others, in relation to the measurement of oysters;

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore city dele-
gation.

Mr. Goldsborough offered the following:

Ordered, That the committee on Claims pay to Gen. Rich-
ard Thomas, twenty-five dollars, for attendance as witness
before the special committee appointed to examine into the
taking of the State arms from Easton, Maryland;

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Chaplain,

Leave was granted to the committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to pay a certain sum of money to Thomas K.
Robson.

Mr. Gordon offered the following:

Ordered, That the committee on Claims be directed to pay
to H. A. Hager, thirty-two dollars, for eight days services
as folder during the recess of the session of this House;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Mills offered the following:

Ordered, That the committee on Claims pay R. B. Hen-
derson, eight dollars, expense incurred for room rent for the
Engrossing committee;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Turner offered the following:

Ordered, That it be entered on the journal that if Mr.
Turner, of Howard, had been present on Monday last when
the vote was taken on the adoption of the resolutions reported
by the committee on Federal Relations, he would have voted
in the affirmative;

Which was adopted.
