The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,

The House resumed the consideration of the unfinished
business of yesterday, being the report and resolutions of the
committee on Federal Relations in regard to the messages of
the Executive.

Pending the consideration of which,

On motion of Mr. Chaplain,
The House, at 2 3-4 o'clock, adjourned.

WEDNESDAY, June 19, 1861.

The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Dr. Zacharias.

Present at the call of the roll the following members:

Messrs. Kilbourn, Speaker, Durant, Morgan, Rasin, Med-
ders, Welch, Briscoe, Burgess, Ford, Denison, Quinlan,
Renshaw, Jones, of Talbot, Chaplain, Dennis, of Somerset,
Keene, Holland, McIntire, Maxwell, Miller, Bryan, Woot-
ton, Jones, of Prince George's, Legg, Starkey, Jacobs, Land-

ing, Kessler, Claggett, Routzahn, Johnson, Salmon, Naill,
Goldsborough, Warfield, Brune, Pitts, Harrison, Thomas,
Wallis, Sangston, Morfit, Scott, Wilson, McCoy, Coudy,
Eakle, Brining, Fiery, Griffith, Gordon, Barnard, McCleary,
Roop, Gorsuch, Mills, Turner.

The proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Mclntire presented the petition of S. B. Stubbs, Jesse
P. Howell, Thomas D. Clayton and other citizens of Cecil
county in favor of an adjournment sine die;

Which was read and referred to the joint special commit-
tee on that subject.
