BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

June 18, 1861.
Genllemen of the Senate:

We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of your hon-
orable body, that the two Houses adjourn sine die on Friday
next, at the hour of 1, P. M

Mr. Jacobs submitted the following, as a substitute:

Resolved, The Senate concurring, that the General As-
sembly adjourn on Friday next, unless sooner determined, to
meet again at on

Mr. Scott moved the reference of the messages to the joint
select committee on adjournment;

Pending the consideration of which, the yeas and nays
were ordered and .appeared as follow:
