Maryland will rely upon the honor of Virginia for full re-
compense for all property destroyed by said troops.

And be it further resolved, That the Governor be requested
to forward by due course of mail a copy of these resolutions
to the Governor of Yirginia;

Which were read the first time.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following :

A bill entitled, an act to amend article VIII of the Code
of Public Local Laws relative to the powers granted by law
to the President and Commissioners of the village of Port
Deposit by adding thereto the following section.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to repeal section 412, of article
IV, of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to the inspec-
tion and weighing of bay and to insert in lieu thereof the
following sections.

Also, a bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money
for the payment of Outer bridge Horsey, for services ren-
dered as commissioner to the State of Virginia.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to make valid the acts of Wm.
Wix as Deputy of Esma Lowe, constable of Caroline county.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to amend article IV of the Code
of Public Local Laws, by adding thereto the following sec-
tion relating to the purchase and government of Druid Hill
and Patterson's Park, belonging to the city of Baltimore.

Also, a bill entitled, an act authorizing and empowering
the county commissioners of Anne Arundle and Prince
George's counties to levy a sum of money to pay for the
erection of a bridge across the Patuxent river, at Queen
Anne.

Severally endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."
Also, delivered the following:

A bill entitled, an act to change the name of Anna
Eliza Cotton, of Montgomery county, to Anna Eliza Dickin-
son;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to explain article XXXVIII,
section 25 of the Maryland Code of Public General Laws re-
lating to the fees of officers;
