The Secretary of the Senate returned the following:

A bill entitled, an act to pay Samuel Jackson a certain
sum of money for filling an order under a resolution of the
General Assembly;

Also, a bill entitled, an act for the relief of the Balt, and
Liberty Turnpike Company;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to authorize and empower
Francis Mattingly to erect gates upon a road passing near
his house to the Catholic church, near Mt. Savage;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to repeal the second section of
the 5th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to appeals from Courts of Equity, and to substitute the fol-
lowing in lieu thereof;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to authorize the vestry of Saint
Peter's church, in the town of Salisbury, in Somerset coun-
ty, to take, have and hold a lot of land devised by the last
will and testament of Wm. Henry Dulaney;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to amend the 65th section of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset county, relating
to Justices of the Peace and Constables by adding thereunto
the following;

Also, a bill entitled an act to amend the 16th Article of
the Code of Public General Laws by adding thereto the fol-
lowing section relating to injunctions;

Severally endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."
Also delivered the following:

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to authorize the
Comptroller to adjust and settle the accounts of the inspec-
tion of grain in the city of Baltimore, passed at December
