The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills:

A bill entitled, an act to amend article IV of the Code of
Public Local Laws, relating to the city of Baltimore, by re-
pealing the 50th section of said article, relating to the salary
of the overseer of the alms-house of Baltimore city;

Also, a bill entitled, an act- to repeal an act providing for
the disposal of the State Tobacco Warehouses, and the buil-
ding of a new Tobacco Warehouse or Warehouses, on deep
water.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to amend the 31st section rela-
ting to the compensation of the jurors and bailiffs of Cal-
vert county, of article V of the Code of Public Local Laws;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
