Also made an unfavorable report upon the resolution of
Mr. Fiery, protesting against the right of the Baltimore City
Delegation to seats in this House of Delegates ;

Which was accepted.

Mr. Kessler offered the following :

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay to the minis-
ters who conducted Divine service for the General Assembly;
one hundred dollars, to be equally divided between them ,

Which was laid on the table until Monday.

Mr. Gordon proposed the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

May 11, 1861.
GENTLEMEN OF THE SENATE :

We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of your
Honorable Body, that when the two Houses adjourn on Mon-
day next, they stand adjourned until Tuesday, the 4th day
of June next, at one o'clock P. M., to meet in Frederick city.

By Order,

MILTON Y. KIDD,

Chief Clerk.

Mr. Pitts moved to amend by striking out "Monday, the
13th," and inserting "Wednesday, the 15th ;"

Which was concurred in.

The message, as amended, was then adopted and sent to
the Senate.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following House
bill:

An act appropriating a sum or money for the payment of
the claims of John H. Keller, John A. Steiner and Lewis H.
Bennett, Trustees of Chippewa Tribe, No, 19, Improved Or-
der of Red/Men, and Dr. Daniel Zacharias, President of the
Council of the Evangelical Reformed Church;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays,"
On motion of Mr. Quinlan,

At 6 1-4 o'clock the House adjourned.
