Which was read, and laid upon the table until Monday.

On motion of Mr. Worthington,

It was ordered that when this House adjourn it stand ad-
journed until this .afternoon at 4 o'clock.
On motion of Mr. Worthington,
The House adjourned.

EVENING SESSION, 4 o'clock, P. M.
The House met.
Present at the call of the roll, the following members :

Messrs. Kilboum, Speaker, Morgan, Rasin, Medders,
Welch, Compton, Ford, Worthington, Denison, Quinlan,
Renshaw, Jones, of Talbot, Lawson, Holland, Maxwell,
Miller, Wootten, Jones, of Prince George's, Legg, Starkey,
Landing, Kessler, Routzhan, Straughn, Goldsborough, War

field, Brune, Winans, Pitts, Harrison, Thomas, Wallis,
Sangston, Morfit, Scott, Wilson, of Harford, Bayless, McCoy,
Eakle, Brining, Fiery, Stake, Griffith, Harding, Gordon,
Barnard, McCleary, Brown.

Mr. Holland offered the following :

Ordered, by the House of Delegates, That the Committee
on Military affairs be, and they are hereby respectfully re-
quested to report to this House, without unnecessary delay,
whether the report made to this House, by the Governor and
Adjutant General, on the 8th inst., in reply to an order of
enquiry addressed to them by the House of Delegates, on the
29th of April last, in regard to the $70, 00 appropriation,
meets the interrogaries propounded in said order of enquiry,
and if not, what action is proper to be taken by this House
in the premises;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Maxwell offered the following :

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be directed to al-
low C. Clayton Yeakle pay for his services in this House, an
amount not exceeding five dollars ;

Which was adopted.
