the reading of the resolutions.

Mr. Goldsborough moved that the first blank be filled
with the word Annapolis ;

Which was not sustained.

Mr. Scott moved to fill the blank with the words "Frede-
rick city."

Mr. Legg moved as a, substitute, to insert the word "Cam-
bridge."

Mr. Turner moved to fill the blank with the word "Lis-
bon;"

Which were rejected.

The question then recurred upon the motion of Mr. Legg ;

It was rejected.

The question then recurred upon the motion to fill the
blank with the word "Frederick City.;"

Which was adopted.

Mr. Scott moved to fill the next blank with the words
Tuesday, the 4th day of Jume, at 1 o'clock, P. M.

Mr. McCleary proposed as a substitute, the words, 4th day
of July next;

Which was rejected.

Mr. Eakle proposed the following amendments :
Substitute 10th day of 'July' for the words 4th of 'June.'
