On motion of Mr. Goldsborough, of Talbot,

Ordered, That the President appoint a select committee of
three, to whom shall be referred the leave to introduce a bill rela-
tive to the schools of Talbot county.

The President appointed Messrs. Goldsborough, of Talbot,
Nuttle, and Townsend.

A message was received from the Executive, His Excellency,
Governor Hicks, by the hands of Grayson Eichelberger, Esq.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Federal
Relations.

The President announced the following Committee on Federal
Relations.

Committee on Federal Relations, appointed under an order of
the Senate:

Messrs. Lynch, Dashiell, Gardiner, Yellott, Townsend, Golds-
borough, of Dorchester, and Blackistone.

Mr. Stone, from a select committee, to whom was referred
resolutions of a public meeting held in Hagerstown, submitted
