Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the Code of Public Local
Laws, Article 19, section 136, relating to the boundaries of the
town of Princess Ann, in Somerset county, by repealing said
section 136, and inserting in lieu thereof the following————;

Which was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays
as follows:

Duvall, Miles,

Dashiell, Nuttle,

Gardiner, Stone,

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following
bills:

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 112th Article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, by adding thereto the following sections,
relating to the going at large and running away of slaves, and
resorting of slaves and free negroes to military posts and encamp-
ments in Frederick county, and to repeal section 16 of Article 66,
of the Code of Public General Laws, so far as it applies to Fred-
erick county;

Which was read the first time, and referred to a special com-
mittee, consisting of Messrs. Kimmel, Smith and Duvall.

A bill, entitled, An act to pay a certain sum of money to Thos.
K. Robson, for advertising division, brigade and regimental orders
in the "Easton Star,"

Which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent, the
second and third times, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
