A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 4th Article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, by repealing the 603rd section thereof,
relating to the mode of drawing jurors in and for the city of Bal-
timore, and substituting therefor the following sections ————,
providing for the more effectual prevention and punishment of
fraud in said drawings;

Which was read the second time.

On motion of Mr. McKaig,
All the foregoing bills were ordered to be printed.

The Clerk of the the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

A bill, entitled, An act to make valid the last will and testa-
ment of a certain John Hanna, late of the State of Pennsylvania,
deceased;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, by repealing the 91st section thereof, relating
to jurors in Talbot county, and substituting a new section there-
for;

Which was read the first time, and referred to a select com-
mittee, consisting of Messrs. Goldsborough, of Talbot, Nuttle
and Bradley.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned the following
bills;

A bill, entitled, An act to compensate Wm. A. Glanville for
certain services performed by him, in promulgating a proclama-
tion of the Governor,

With the following

AMENDMENT :

Section 1, line 6, strike out the word fifty, and insert twenty-
five.

The yeas and nays were taken on the amendment, and resulted
as follows:
