Mr. Goldsborough, of Talbot, from the Committee on Finance,
reported favorably on the following:

A bill, entitled, An act appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of Outer-bridge Horsey, for services rendered as Com-
missioner to the State of Virginia;

Which was read the second time.

A bill, entitled, An act to authorize the County Commissioners
for Frederick county to build a new Court Court House for Fred-
erick county, to borrow money on the credit of the county, to
issue bonds for the payment of the same, and to levy taxes on
the assessable property of the county, to redeem said bonds, and
to pay the interest thereon,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

A bill, entitled, An act to provide for the compensation, of
William A. Glanville, for certain services performed by him, in
promulgating a proclamation of the Governor,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

A bill, entitled, An act to change the name of Anna Eliza
Cotton, of Montgomery county, to Anna Eliza Dickinson,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following
bill:

A bill, entitled, An act to make valid the acts of Wm. Wicks,
as deputy of Esma Lowe, constable of Caroline county;

Which was read the first time, and referred to, Messrs, Nultle,
Stone, and Goldsborough, of Talbot.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned the following
bill:

A bill adding a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to the Judges of the Orphans' Court for Montgomery
county,

With the following

AMENDMENT :

After the word "bill," in the first line, insert, "entitled, an
act;"
