Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Nuttle,
Goldsborough, of Talbot, and Stone.

A bill, entitled, An act for the relief of Mathew Burton, of
Baltimore county;

Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Lynch,
McKaig, and Whitaker.

A bill, entitled, An act to pay Alien G. Quynn a sum of money
for articles furnished troops protecting Frederick Barracks, under
order of the Governor;

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Blackistone, Kimmel,

Bradley, Lynch,

Duvall, McKaig,

Franklin, Smith,

Grahame, Stone,

Goldsborough, of Talbot; Whitaker—12.

NEGATIVE——NONE.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

On motion of Mr. Goldsborough, of Talbot,

Leave was granted the Committee on Agriculture to report a
bill as a supplement to an act, entitled, An act to authorise the
Comptroller to adjust and settle the accounts of the Inspectors of
Grain in the city of Baltimore, passed at December session, 1860,
chapter 282, declaratory of the meaning of said act.

The Senate adjourned.
