The following message was received from the House of Dele-
gates:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
April 27, 1861.

Gentlemen of the Senate :

We respectfully propose, with your concurrence, to adjourn
and meet forthwith at the German Reformed Building.

By order,

MILTON Y. KIDD, Chief Clerk.
Which was read.

Mr. Kimmel submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

April 27, 1861.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message, proposing a removal to the
new building on Market street, and concur therein.

By order,

WM. KILGOUR, Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of Dele-
gates.

The President announced the Standing Committees, which are
the same as of last session.

Mr. Goldsborough, of Dorchester, submitted the following :
Resolved, by the Senate and House of Delegates,

That the Joint Resolution of the two Houses, embodying an
address to the people of Maryland, upon its adoption by the
House of Delegates, be signed by the members of both Houses.

Which was read the first time, and by special order the second
und third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Brooke, President; McKaig, Smith, Yellott, Watkins,
Heckart, Townsend, Bradley, Dashiell, Goldsborough, of Tal-
bot, Goldsborough, of Dorchester, Blackstone, Whitaker, Nut-
tle Lynch, Kimmel, Duvall,
