parus Augustus Herman (1656-1697) and Judith
Herman, who subsequently married John Thomp-
son (?-1701). Ariana subsequently married by
1723 Thomas Bordley (ca. 1683-1726), and finally
Edmund Jennings (?-1756). Her half brother was
Henry Ward (?-1734). Her sisters were Jane;
Augustina, who married James Harris (1682-
1743); and Francina, who married second, Charles
Hynson (1692-1748). Her nephew was Matthias
Harris (1718-1773). Her first cousins were
Ephraim Augustus Herman (1683-1734/35); Rich-
ard Thompson (ca. 1680-by 1775); Augustine
Thompson (1691-ca. 1738/39); and Joseph Wood

liam Frisby (by 1664-1713). BROTHERS: James
(1676-died young); Thomas Frisby (1681-ca.
1715/16), who married first, Frances (?-1713),
daughter of George Wells (?-1696), and second,
Augustina, daughter of Casparus Augustus Her-
man (1656-1697); James Frisby (1684-1719), who
