1 Calvert apparently attended this Assembly on a special writ, because he was not yet officially appointed to the Coun-
cil when the Assembly convened; perhaps he was replacing William Evans, who died in March 1668/69.
2 Impeached by the Lower House during the session for irregular actions as a lawyer; the Upper House ruled the im-
peachment procedure improper and cleared him of all charges.
3 The surviving Upper House journal does not record Hall's attendance, but he was an elected delegate from Calvert
County.
4 Horsey never attended the session. Somerset, like Dorchester, a newer and less populated county, may have desired a
smaller delegation.
