tion the polls shall be open for the reception
of votes from eight o'clock, a. m., to eight
o'clock, p. m., and no longer.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the managing
convention of any such political association
or party, shall appoint a Board of three per-
sons to revise the selections of Judges and

Clerks made by the ward delegations, as herein-
after provided for; the time of appointment,
the term of service, and the filling of vacancies
in said Board, to be determined by such con-
vention; and all shall prescribe by resolution
the qualifications of such Judges and Clerks ;
the delegation to such managing convention
from each ward, shall select for each election
to be held under the provisions of this act,
three persons to act as Judges, one of whom
shall be designated as Return Judge, and two
persons to act as Clerks, having the qualifica-
tions prescribed as aforesaid, and shall fix the
polling-place in said ward, which shall be as
near the center of the ward as possible, and
not in any house where intoxicating liquors are
sold; each of said ward delegations shall return
to said Board of Revision a list of the Judges
and Clerks, and the polling-place selected by
them, at least ten days before the election for
which such selections are made; the list to re-
main in the rooms of the executive committee
of such managing convention until the publi-
cation of the revised list by the President of
the convention as hereinafter required; if any
of the persons upon said lists have not the
qualifications prescribed by this act, or upon

complaint made in writing, specifying the rea-
sons of objection, are decided by said Board to
be improper persons for the performance of
such duties, said Board shall notify the ward
delegation of such objections and request them
to name other persons in their stead, and if
said ward delegations shall neglect or refuse
to send in other names, then the said Board
shall have power to appoint proper and duly
qualified persons in their place and stead;
