HENRY LLOYD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

consent of the said General Assembly be and
is hereby granted and given to the follow-
ing gifts, sales, leases, devises and bequests,

to or for the use of the several religious sects,
orders and denominations hereinafter set forth,
viz: first, to the bequest of Almira H. L.
Phelps, late of Baltimore city, deceased, of
the sum of one thousand dollars to her ex-
ecutors in trust, for the Vestry of St. Bartholo-
mew's Protestant Episcopal Church of Balti-
more city; second, to the bequest of Rachel
Hoppe, late of Carroll county, deceased, of the
sum of two hundred dollars to the Trustees of
Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of West-
minster, Maryland; third, to the bequests of
George W. Stephen, late of Washington county,
deceased, to the Treasurer of the Convention
of the Protestant Episcopal Church in Mary-
land; to the Domestic and Foreign Missionary
Society of the Protestant Episcopal Church of
the United States of America; and to the Ves-
try of St. John's Parish of Washington county,
in the State of Maryland; fourth, to the be-
quest of Christopher Perry, late of Baltimore
city, deceased, of the sum of three hundred
dollars to the Trustees of the Madison Street
Presbyterian Church of Baltimore, Maryland;
fifth, to the bequest of Mrs. Margaret Thorn-
burg, late of Washington county, deceased, to
and for the use of the St. Andrew's Protestant
Episcopal Church of Clear Spring, Maryland,
and its Wardens and Vestry, and their suc-
cessors forever; sixth, to the bequest of Edward
Kurtz, late of Baltimore city, deceased, of the
sum of five thousand dollars in money and in
bonds, to the Memorial Evangelical Lutheran
