HENRY LLOYD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session of eighteen hundred and eighty-two,
entitled an act to repeal article seventy-six of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Public Printer," and to enact an article in
lieu thereof, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That on or before
the first day of October prior to the meeting
of each and every session of the General As-
semble of this State, it shall be the duty of

the Clerk of the Court of Appeals, and he is
hereby required to advertise for ten successive
days in three daily newspapers published in
the city of Baltimore, having as near as he
can ascertain the largest circulation, and two
weekly papers in Annapolis, that he will re-
ceive bids for the printing for the General As-
sembly at there next ensuing session; that the
amount of printing so to be contracted for
shall be four thousand copies of the Governor's
message in English; five hundred copies of the
Governor's message in German; three thou-
sand reports of the Comptroller of the Treas-
ury; one thousand reports of the State Treas-
urer; one thousand reports of the Adjutant-
General; two thousand School reports; one
thousand reports of the Insurance Commis-
sioner; one thousand copies of the report of
the State Tax Commissioner; two thousand
reports of the Commissioner of the Land Office ;
and all of the aforesaid reports shall be printed
and bound in paper; one thousand reports of
the State Board of Health; one thousand re-
ports of the Bureau of Labor Statistics; one

Journal of the Senate; fifteen hundred copies
of the Daily Journal of the House of Dele-
gates; two hundred each Senate Bills; two

thousand Yeas and Nays for the Senate; two
hundred Rules and Orders for the use of the
