provide a number on canvass to be prescribed
and furnished by said County Commissioners,
of the same size as that required by the State
Oyster Law, in red figures corresponding with
the number of said license, and shall fix the
same on the same sail and on the opposite side
thereof from that required by the said State
Law, and the provisions of this sub-title shall
not apply to the waters of Pocomoke river and
sound, in which said waters it shall be un-
lawful to take oysters with scoop, scrape, drag
or dredge, and such license shall not be trans-
ferable, and any acts or parts of acts incon-
sistent with the provisions of this act are-
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its pas-
sage.

AN ACT to add a new section to article thirty
of the Code of Public General Laws, title
" Crimes and Punishment," providing for
the manufacture, publication and distribu-
tion of indecent and immoral pictures, prints-
and other documents.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the following sec-
tion be added to article thirty of the Code of
Public General Laws, title " Crimes and Pun-
ishment," to come in after section seventy-
eight, and to be called section seventy-eight A.
78 A. Any person who shall design, draw,
paint, print, lithograph, stamp, engrave, carve
or in any way make, manufacture or produce,
or cause to be designed, drawn, painted, printed,
