SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county shall pay
annually a sufficient sum, not exceeding twen-

property in Baltimore county, to pay said Po-
licemen appointed under this act, and for such
other necessary and proper expenses as in their
judgment may be required to promote the
efficiency, discipline and usefulness of such

take effect from the first day of May next.
