CHAPTER 448.

AN ACT to appropriate the sum of thirty-two
hundred and twenty dollars, to pay for cer-
tain repairs at the State House and Gov-
ernor's Mansion, and the further sum of four
thousand dollars for repairs at the State
Normal School Building in the city of Bal-
timore, ordered by the Committee on Public
Buildings.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the sum of thirty-
two hundred and twenty dollars be and the
same is hereby appropriated to pay for work
done and materials furnished in removing the
water-closets, and providing additional com-
mittee-room conveniences in the State House,
and for certain repairs done to the Governor's
Mansion, which said sum shall be paid to the
parties entitled to the same by the Comptrol-

ler of the State upon the production of proper
and satisfactory vouchers; and the further sum
of four thousand dollars is hereby appropriated
for repairs at the State Normal School in the
city of Baltimore, to be expended under the
direction of the Board of Public Works by the
warrant of the Comptroller of the State upon
the Treasurer, upon the order of said Board of
Public Works.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take eifect from the date of its passage.
