SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That all acts or
parts inconsistent with this act, be and the
same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 444.
AN ACT to define the law prohibiting the sale
of spirituous, fermented or intoxicating
liquors or alcoholic bitters in Crumpton
District, or Election District Number Seven,
in Queen Anne's county.
WHEREAS the General Assembly of Mary-
land, at its January session, eighteen hundred
and eighty-two, passed an act, viz: chapter

three hundred and seven, Laws of eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, entitled "An act to
enable the qualified voters of certain districts
of Queen Anne's county to determine by bal-
lot whether spirituous, fermented or intoxi-
cating liquors or alcoholic bitters shall be sold
in said county;" and
WHEREAS the General Assembly of Mary-
land, ,at it January session, eighteen hundred
and eighty-two, passed another act, viz: chap-
ter two hundred and forty-four, Laws of eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-two, entitled "An

act to lay out and establish a new election
district in Queen Anne's county, out of por-
tions of the First and Second Election Dis-
tricts of said county, to be called Crumpton
District or District Number Seven, and to sub-
mit to the qualified voters of said district the
question whether the provisions of the law
prohibiting the sale of liquors shall be en-
forced in said new district; and
