LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAPTER 48.

AN ACT to sanction and make valid a bequest
in the last will and testament and the codi-
cil thereto of Olivia C. Wootton, late of Mont-
gomery county, deceased, of five hundred
dollars to the Vestry of Prince George's Par-
ish, in said county, and to authorize said
vestry to receive and hold the same subject
to the said last will and testament and the-
codicil thereto.

WHEREAS the said Olivia C. Wootton did, by
her last will and testament and codicil thereto,
duly admitted to probate by the Orphans'
Court of said Montgomery county, and re-
corded in the office of the Register of Wills of
said county, bequeath the said sum of five hun-

dred dollars to the Vestry of Prince George's
Parish, in said county, in special trust and con-
fidence, nevertheless, to securely invest the
same and to pay over the interest, profits, and
dividends therefrom arising annually, or as
the same may be received, to the Rector or
Minister for the time being in charge of Christ
Church; at Rockville, in said parish, for his
individual use and benefit.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the bequest of five
hundred dollars made to the Vestry of Prince
George's Parish, in Montgomery county, by
the last will and testament and the codicil

To make valid

thereto, of Olivia C. Wootton, late of said
county, deceased, be and the same is hereby
sanctioned, confirmed, and made valid, and
the said vestry be and they, are hereby author-
ized and empowered to take and receive the
said sum of five hundred dollars, and hold the
same, subject to the provisions of said last
will and testament and the codicil thereto.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
