SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That section fifty-
five of article second, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-
title "Annapolis," as the same was amended
and re-enacted by the several acts of eighteen
hundred and sixty-five, chapter eighty-seven;
eighteen hundred and sixty-six, chapter one
hundred and forty- four; eighteen hundred and
