CHAPTER 382.
AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of the
First Precinct of the Fifth Election District
of Anne Arundel county to determine by bal-
lot whether spirituous or fermented liquors
or alcoholic bitters shall be sold therein,
and to regulate the terms and conditions on
which the sale thereof may be made, in case
the majority of the voters of said First Pre-
cinct of said Fifth District shall determine
said question in the affirmative, and to regu-
late the sale thereof; and also to revive the
Public General Laws of this State relating to
the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors
to minors in said First Precinct of aaid
Fifth District; also the Sunday and Election
Laws of this State, which were in force at
the date of the passage of the law known as
the "Local Option Law of Anne Arundel
County," passed at the January session eigh-
teen hundred and eighty -two, in case the said
vote shall be in favor of such sale.
PREAMBLE.
WHEREAS much doubt and uncertainty exist
In the minds of a large portion of the voters
of Anne Arundel county whether the law known

as the " Local Option Law " of said county,
passed at the session of the Legislature in eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-two, chapter one
hundred and twelve, produces beneficial re-
sults; and,
WHEREAS numerous petitions have been for-
warded to this Legislature, signed by a large
number of citizens and taxpayers residing in
