CHAPTER 35.

AN ACT to provide for the restoration of cer-
tain Records in the office of the Register of
Wills for Anne Arundel county.

WHEREAS, There are in the office of the Reg-
ister of Wills for Anne Arundel county, a docket
of administrators and executors from eighteen
hundred and seventy-two, and a will-book
(R. I. D., No. 1), which are now in a dilapidated
condition and should be copied in new and

substantial books; and there are also several
books containing administrators' and execu-
tors' accounts from seventeen hundred and
seventy-feven, of which there is no general in-
dex, but which should be indexed so as to
make it convenient to search for such accounts.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the expenses
of making said copies and indexes shall be
paid by Anne Arundel county, and the County
Commissioners for said county, are hereby au-

thorized and required to levy such sum or sums
of money as may be necessary to pay the Reg-
ister of Wills the expenses of making said
copies and indexes, which said expenses shall
be at the rate now allowed by law for such
services to Registers of Wills, and the costs
of the books into which said copies and in-
dexes shall be made.
