Trustee, to take charge of and complete the col-
lection of said taxes; therefore,

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the proceedings and
orders of said Court in the premises, be and
the same are hereby ratified and confirmed,
and that the said Trustee be and he is hereby

empowered to collect said State and county
taxes for said years eighteen hundred and
eighty-four and eighteen hundred and eighty-
five, and discharge all the duties and exercise
all the powers appertaining to the office of
Treasurer of Prince George's county, and Col-
lector of State and county taxes under the
Public Local Laws for Prince George's county,
and the Code of Public General Laws applica-
ble thereto.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 239.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Frederick county to issue
bonds bearing four per cent, interest, to raise
money with which to pay off the bonds is-
sued by said Commissioners under an act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
at January session eighteen hundred and
seventy-eight, chapter two hundred and
forty-three, and to levy and collect the neces-
sary taxes for the payment of such four per
cent, bonds and the interest thereon.
