CHAPTER 237.

AN ACT to ratify the proceedings of the Cir-
cuit Court for Prince George's county, as a
Court of Equity, appointing James T. Per-
kins Trustee, to take charge of and complete
the collection of State and county taxes for
the years eighteen hundred and eighty, and
eighteen hundred and eighty-one, and eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-two, and eighteen
hundred and eighty-three, and to perform the
other duties of Treasurer of Prince George's
county, and Collector of State and county
taxes in place of John G. Hall, deceased,
late Treasurer of Prince George's county,
and Collector of State and county taxes of
Prince George's county for the years eigh-
teen hundred and eighty, eighteen hundred
and eighty-one, eighteen hundred and eigh-
ty-two and eighteen hundred and eighty-
three.

WHEREAS upon the application of John Simms,
one of the sureties of John G. Hall, deceased,
late Treasurer of Prince George's county, and
Collector of State and county taxes of Prince
George's county for the years eighteen hun-

one, eighteen hundred and eighty-two and
eighteen hundred and eighty-three, the Cir-
cuit Court for Prince George's county, as a
Court or Equity, appointed James T. Perkins
Trustee, to take charge of and complete the
collection of taxes therefor.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the proceedings and
orders of said Court in the premises, be and the
same are hereby ratified and confirmed, and
that the said Trustee be and he is hereby em-
powered to collect said State and county taxes
properly collectable during the said years
