CHAPTER 229.
AN ACT to add a sub-section to article six of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caro-
line county," sub-title "Justices of the Peace
and Constables," to be designated section
138 A, relating to the issue and service of
civil process.
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the following sub-

added to article six of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Caroline county," sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables," to
follow section one hundred and thirty-eight :

To issue to
Constable.
|
SEC. 138 A. All civil process issued by any
Justice of the Peace in Caroline county, shall
be directed to a Constable of said county, to be
by him served or executed according to law.
|
|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 230.
AN ACT to repeal section four of the acts
passed at the January session, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-four, chapter three hundred
and thirteen, being an act to incorporate the
Baltimore Baptist Church Extension Society,
and to enact the following in lieu of section
four of said original act.

|
Repealed and
re-enacted.
