of the height of at least seven feet, constructed
of palings not less than six inches in width,
with proper gates, securely fastened andguarded
at all times, around the said hospital and hos-
pital grounds, and shall adopt and enforce all
other reasonable and necessary safeguards to
prevent lunatic patients who may be confined
or under treatment in said hospital from escap-
ing or wandering beyond the limits of said .
grounds and enclosure.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That for the pur-
pose of carrying out the provisions of this act

the Comptroller of the State is hereby in-
structed to draw his warrant upon the Treas-
urer of the State in favor of the Treasurer of
the Board of Managers for the sum of two
thousand dollars.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 206.
AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and
twenty-seven of the acts passed at the Janu-
ary session eighteen hundred and eighty-
two, relating to the catching of oysters with
scoops or dredges in the waters of Dorchester
county, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That chapter three hun-
dred and twenty-seven of the acts passed at

with scoops or light dredges in the waters of
Dorchester county, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
