CHAPTER 196.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and
fifteen of chapter three hundred and forty-
three of the acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, approved April the eleventh, in
the year eighteen hundred and seventy-four,
entitled "An act to repeal the one hundred
and seventh, one hundred and eighth, one
hundred and ninth, one hundred and tenth,
one hundred and twelfth, one hundred and
fourteenth, one hundred and fifteenth, one
hundred and eighteenth, one hundred and
nineteenth sections of article seven of the
Code of Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, relating to the city of Westmin-
ster, in Carroll county, and to re-enact the
same in an amended or different form," and
to re-enact the said one hundred and fifteenth
section in an amended form.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the one hundred
and fifteenth section of chapter three hundred
and forty three of the acts of eighteen hun-
dred and severity-four, entitled "An act to re-
peal the one hundred and seventh, one hundred
and eighth, one hundred and ninth, one hun-

dred and tenth, one hundred and twelfth, one
hundred and fourteenth, one hundred and fif-
teenth, one hundred and eighteenth and one
hundred and nineteenth sections of article
seven of the Code of Public- Local Laws of
the State of Maryland, relating to the city of
Westminster, in Carroll county, and to re-enact
the same in an amended or different form," be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows :

SECTION 115. The said Mayor and Common
Council of Westminster may levy annually a
tax on the property in said corporation assessed
