At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, be-
gun and held at tlie city of Annapolis, on the sixth
day of January, 1886, His Excellency, HENRY LLOYD,
'being Governor, the following Laws were enacted,
to wit:

CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT directing the Governor, by and with
the advice and consent of the Senate, to ap-
point one additional Justice of the Peace for
the First Legislative District of Baltimore
city.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That, upon the passage
of this act, the Governor, by and with the
advice and consent of the Senate, shall ap-
point one additional Justice of the Peace for
the First Legislative District of Baltimore city.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
