HENRY LLOYD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR
CHAPTER 159.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of Robert E. Strange, W. L.
Pfeiffer, Clay ton &• Company, W. B. Gardi-
ner, Daniel V. Bright, W. Jewell and Wil-
liam Schultz.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of
the Treasury be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of the State, to pay to Robert E.
Strange for work done for the House of Dele-
gates and Senate, as per order of Governor,
Henry Lloyd, six hundred and three dollars
and seventy cents; to W. L. Pfeiffer, for uphol-
stering and renovating the House of Delegates
and Senate, as per order of Governor, Henry
Lloyd, eleven hundred and sixty-two dollars
and fifty cents; to Clayton & Company, for
sundries furnished the House of Delegates and

Senate, as per order of Governor, Henry Lloyd,
six hundred and ninety-two dollars and thirty-
seven cents; to W. B. Gardiner, for work done
and materials furnished the House of Dele-
gates and Senate, as per order of Governor,
Henry Lloyd, six hundred and fifty-six dollars
and forty-one cents; to Daniel V. Bright, for
plumbing and gas-fitting in the House of Dele-
gates and Senate, as per order of Governor,
Henry Lloyd, two hundred and thirty-three
dollars and eighty-five cents; to W. Jewell, for
plastering in the House of Delegates and Sen-
ate, as per order of Governor, Henry Lloyd, one
hundred and eight dollars and fifty cents; to
William Schultz, for repairing of clocks in the
House of Delegates and Senate, as per order of
Governor, Henry Lloyd, nineteen dollars and
forty-five cents.

propriations.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 1, 1886.
