LAWS OF MARYLAND.
Bank of Baltimore were invested in the years
for which the said Eutaw Savings Bank so paid
State taxes in error aforesaid; and provided,
|
|
|
Deduction.
|
further, that if the amount of said State taxes
so collected from the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore shall be less than the amount hereby
appropriated to the said Eutaw Savings Bank
of Baltimore, the amount of such deficiencies
shall be deducted from the appropriation
hereby made to said Eutaw Savings Bank of
Baltimore before the same is paid.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 143.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the Court costs due by the State, as ap-
pellant in certain cases.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller
of the State is hereby authorized and directed
to issue his warrant upon the State Treasurer

Costs of
Record.
|
in favor of Sprigg Harwood, Esq., Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Anne Arundel county, for
the sum of one hundred and forty dollars, in
payment of the cost of the copy of the record
in the cases of the State vs. Amos S. Bryant,
State vs. George Yewell, State vs. Insley, and
State vs. Brown and Brown, which cases were
decided against the State.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
